A Face to a Name

I have made some little changes to Stray, or minor improvements if you will!
I am rubbish at the whole technology thing, and I don't have Photoshop which makes blogging life much harder!
(if anyone knows any good free editing programmes for macs, please let me know!)
As you can probably see to the right of this post is a honking great photo of my face.
After traipsing through hundreds of blogs for my dissertation, I find the ones with a photo of the writer just adds a bit of personality and someone for the readers to relate to at a first glance.
There is also a bit about me.

I'm working on some buttons for the side bar, but the process is seemingly slow!

But yer, there's my face and below is a book I got from the Urban Outfit sale, so funny! And some spaghetti bolognese I proudly made, because words without pictures is boring.

Happy weekend!

Twenty/Twenty Goals

For those of you who read my christmas wish list, you'll know this book was on it.
My sister also saw the post and consequently bought me the book, of which I opened yesterday.
I have already read it cover to cover, it's funny and scarily true.
I thought it was just me going through these crazy thoughts and episodes, but was grateful to find out its common for girl's in their twenties.
If your like me, who is 21 and feeling slightly lost and terrified at the prospect of new and frightening/exciting endeavours in the years to come, then this is a book for you.
It may not help, but it will ease your mind knowing you're not alone.

Nonetheless, being a deep thinker, I have been pondering the 20 goals I wish to achieve in my twenties.
Knowing that plans change, not always by choice is besides the matter in this activity and is also in perfect sync with the new year's resolutions.
Right now, this is what I want to do, this is what would make me happy, and this is how I envisage my future.
And let's face it, a rough plan is still a plan.

Twenty goals for the 20's

If you work your way clockwise, you will get an idea of the order and scale of each goal. Some I know will happen more than others, but a girl can dream.
What are your future goals?

Christmas List

I know it's only November, but I made my Christmas List a few weeks ago! Only because this year, I actually know what I want! I'm usually one of those annoying people, who when you ask 'what do you want for christmas?' they reply 'I don't know really'. We all know them.
Soo here it is, my list of seemingly regular and fairly average goodies I would like to find in my santa's sack!

Christmas List

I'll start with my No.7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream. I've previously done a post on this cream about 8 months ago, giving it a good review. It is so great for the skin and its only just run out! ... a perfect reason to put it as a stocking filler!
I've put quite a few beauty gifts down this year. Including some mac make up and brushes. A fragrance set, and some nail varnishes (of course!) preferably Chanel or OPI, as these are way too expensive for my budget!
I recently received a pandora bracelet for my birthday so I thought a christmas themed snowman charm would be cute.
No stocking would be complete without a few things to fill up the days, so I've asked for a couple of DVDs, The Hunger Games and Magic Mike, my two faves of the year! As well as a couple of books, a student cookbook (I left mine in my old house, and I need some more cooking inspo) and the 'Fuck, I'm in my twenties' book from UO. Exactly how I felt when I turned 21!
As well as a few other bits and bobs...
They recently got some new iphone cases in Topshop and they are gorge! UO also has some cute ones.
A cloche hat, very on trend, very wintery and I've wanted one for yonks.
As well as a lovely picture frame for a bit of room decor.

I'm sure I've put more on my list for Santa (mum) but I can't remember! You get the gist!
And as we all know, Christmas isn't about the presents, but us fashion divas need to be prepared!
Have you written your list yet?
