Indonesia Inspo

Indonesia Inspo

I'm going to Indonesia in August and I cant wait!
With all the S/S new season stuff coming in I'm getting loads of inspiration for holiday outfits already.
One item I'm seriously lusting after is this dyed Kimono with tassels from Internationale which is £22 and I love it!
Could just imagine slipping it on over a bikini and shorts after a lush day at the beach.
Might just have to invest in this one.

Polyvore for IPhone Review

If you're a regular reader, you will know I like to do a spot of moodboarding on Polyvore.
So I was uber excited to try out their new IPhone app.
I'm going to India next week so I thought I would do a moodboard around that theme, with an outfit for the hot nights or day trips around the village.

I have to say I thought the app was pretty average!
The way the products were displayed was the same, however you couldn't narrow down the search by price and colour on the web.
I'm not sure about others, but mine kept freezing, so much so that I had to re-download it!
Apart from that they'd pretty much thought of everything to suit the phone format, with resizing the items using touch.

The only other thing was when uploaded, you can't post it anywhere else, there's no share button or anything, I think there was an option to do it whilst uploading, but not after, which meant I had to post this on blogger through the web.

Despite the mishaps, I'm quite impressed I made this moodboard on my phone!
A handy little app when out and about!
Try it yourself!

Christmas List

I know it's only November, but I made my Christmas List a few weeks ago! Only because this year, I actually know what I want! I'm usually one of those annoying people, who when you ask 'what do you want for christmas?' they reply 'I don't know really'. We all know them.
Soo here it is, my list of seemingly regular and fairly average goodies I would like to find in my santa's sack!

Christmas List

I'll start with my No.7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream. I've previously done a post on this cream about 8 months ago, giving it a good review. It is so great for the skin and its only just run out! ... a perfect reason to put it as a stocking filler!
I've put quite a few beauty gifts down this year. Including some mac make up and brushes. A fragrance set, and some nail varnishes (of course!) preferably Chanel or OPI, as these are way too expensive for my budget!
I recently received a pandora bracelet for my birthday so I thought a christmas themed snowman charm would be cute.
No stocking would be complete without a few things to fill up the days, so I've asked for a couple of DVDs, The Hunger Games and Magic Mike, my two faves of the year! As well as a couple of books, a student cookbook (I left mine in my old house, and I need some more cooking inspo) and the 'Fuck, I'm in my twenties' book from UO. Exactly how I felt when I turned 21!
As well as a few other bits and bobs...
They recently got some new iphone cases in Topshop and they are gorge! UO also has some cute ones.
A cloche hat, very on trend, very wintery and I've wanted one for yonks.
As well as a lovely picture frame for a bit of room decor.

I'm sure I've put more on my list for Santa (mum) but I can't remember! You get the gist!
And as we all know, Christmas isn't about the presents, but us fashion divas need to be prepared!
Have you written your list yet?

Best Dressed for Less

Dianna Agron is the winner for me today in the best dressed category, no one else made much effort, chezza was in a t-shirt and moss was in jeans! But I love Dianna's summery Tracy Reese for Anthropologie dress with a cute clutch, simple and elegant.
Heres how to create this style for less, a nice summer pleated floral dress, waist belt, with strappy sandals.
Keep the hair and make up simple and natural, an up do and peachy cheeks to compliment the style.

Summer Dresses and accessories

Dorothy Perkins has a lovely selection of these dresses, all in the sale!
