Peach Pink Nova Clutch

I recently received this lovely Nova clutch from Peach Pink.
Its made of leather which means the feel of it is super soft. The colour is Wedgewood and although this wouldn't be my first choice it added a slight pop to my usual dark wardrobe as well as the perfect accessory, for the reasons below.
I have the flu at the moment so my nose is red, my eyes are droopy and my face is something I don't want anyone to see, so therefore I have purely focused the pictures on the bag, and why shouldn't I? its beaut.

Versatility: The clutch has detachable straps so it can be turned into a shoulder bag for day time.
Character: The trademark embossed moth which is on all of the Peach Pink products gives the bag some personality towards the brand on a removable tag.

Clutch every which way: whether its in your hand, with the handy mini strap, or under your arm.

Convenience: It has a front pocket with a magnetic clasp providing the best access for your phone.

The lining is a contrast coral with blue accents and plenty of handy pockets, one of which held my camera perfectly! and big enough to fit my brolly in, which is always a bonus for a temporary northern girl.

The bag went great with my leather jacket just to place under my arm for an afternoon shop, and because its soft, unlike most clutches, it didn't start digging in after an hour and proved popular on the high street with some heightened stares from the manchy stylistas.

I also received this great business card holder.
Again, all leather with the moth chilling on the popper button flap.
I love the colour, and now I have an excuse to buy business cards for stray!
You can view the bag on the website here as well as all their other products and where to buy in stores!

Goodbuy - Missguided Dress

A few posts ago I did a mood board showing a Missguided dress that I had ordered.
After a bit of trouble with delivery it came on the day (yesterday) of my friends birthday 'do' and luckily it fit so I wore it.
One of my blogging pet hates is shoddy quality outfit pictures, so I am not proud of this, especially as its my first!
The dark background, the fact it was taken on my phone, as well as the fact I was a little worse for wear by this point doesn't make for good viewing, but you guys get the gist I'm sure.
However, I promised you guys a photo and here it is.
I have to admit the dress is lovely and definitely a good buy.
Hope you guys like it!

New iPhone Cover

My friend told me about an iPhone cover on a local website which I should buy because it had a giraffe print, and I am basically a giraffe in human form (tall, tanned with weird freckles that look like giraffe spots on my hand).

So I contacted the seller to find out more!

The cover was only £5, and it came with a free earphone jack accessory in this really cute little box.

I met the girl the today and she told me I was the first she had done business with so it was pretty spesh!

And here it is, I love it, and I was really pleased with the service. So easy, especially because it was local and an absolute bargain!

Instagram Step Up

Instagram has taken a big hit on the world of smart phones. Celebrities, artists, fashion companies, everyone is instagramming, not only to create beautiful photos, but as an interesting marketing tool.
So its no wonder they've created apps to take it one step further, making Instagram style photos, but using frames, so the user can create a picture using several different ones.

There are three popular apps that provide this at the moment,  Diptic, PhotoShake and Picframe. They all do roughly the same thing, just in a different format.
I bought Picframe (£0.69) from the Apple app store, and its made instagramming so much more fun!

You might have seen I've already used the effect a bit on past posts, the best bit is, you don't have to post the photo straight to instagram, you can save it on your phone, or even share it on Facebook or Twitter instead. I was sold!

Below are a few examples, from me and other users!

Mamma Knows Best

When at home, I like to root through my mothers things, jewellery, clothes, mainly old stuff, just because its fascinating. From what I'm finding it turns out I inherited my interest in fashion from her. 'It's amazing what comes back into fashion', something we hear all the time, but its true!
Below are a few things I've found of hers that I love, some retro, some classic, and some back in style!
I recommend having a look into your mum's wardrobes to see if you can dig out anything that you fancy, or even anything which you used to wear. Theres always a way of revamping it.

A selection of old broaches.
(taken with Instagram)

This one is my favourite, very art deco, which I know my mum loves.

A set of pearls, I used to play dress up with these when I was little, now they would make a nice addition to an evening dress for a summer occasion or even an elegant ensemble to casual day wear.

These watches are everywhere at the moment, I recently bought one just like this from Urban Outfitters, when there was one sitting in my mums draw this whole time!

I've always loved this selection of retro earrings she has, she used to wear them in the eighties a lot.

Bucket with mini spade and fork!

 Tiny pink telephone!

 Another painted wooden parrot.
I'm not brave enough to wear these myself, maybe one day for fancy dress!

I often borrow this Moschino belt for nights out or to wear with high waisted skirts. Everyone always asks me if its real, of course its not, but I love it as if it were!

This chippy belt is also a cute one to wrap around your waist with a skirt or dress.

Something else from the 80's. This padded quilt bad with gold chain is very chanel-esque. Petite and perfect for a day out.

She gave me this selection of silk scarves when I started Uni, they were just coming back into fashion and she had loads, so I didn't have to go out and buy any!

I am a lover of big knitted cardi's and jumpers, which is why I adore this pink oversized jumper with rose detail.

And finally, this tweed pink jacket. You may have seen my post the other week about the range of these in zara at the moment, now I don't need to buy one! I was ecstatic when I found this, also very Chanel.

(Apologies for the shoddy quality photos, cannot wait to get my hands on a DSLR!)

So why not try and dig up some old treasures, you never know what you might find!
