Marc Jacobs Nails

So I've recently had a bit of 'Nail Block' (like writers block, but with nails). Nothing has inspired me at all, and if I'm planning on starting to sell these nails, the designs need to be innovative and different.
We've all seen the tribal nails and dotty nails, they're just not cutting it anymore!
So like any fashion student, I turned to Vogue for help.
I have absolutely no clue why I didnt do this before!
Prints are so big in this upcoming season, so by looking at all the pre ready to wear collections, the inspiration for nail designs was screaming at me!

I started with these, inspired by Marc Jacobs Pre Ready to Wear collection, of which there were many other interesting patterns, these ones stood out and they were simple to put onto nails.

I know I havent got quite the right green colour, but I still love the contrasting bright colours.

I even put it onto a fake nail and loved the result, contemplating putting this design on my etsy shop when its up and running, what do you guys think? please comment below if you like it!

Its pretty obvious which one is the fake nail here.

So if you too are stuck for a bit of design inspiration, turn to the people who do it best!

I'm currently working on more designs from 3.1 Phillip Lim and ALICE by Temperley.

French Grazia 'Forte Impression' Spread

Whilst in France, I picked up this French Grazia for just €1! So I thought I'd feature it because its interesting to see the difference between this and UK Grazia.

So here is the Forte Impression spread in French Grazia!

I love the prints and the silhouettes coming through with designers such as Ermanno Scervino, Chloe, Yves Saint Laurent and Assad Mounser taking part in this shoot.

ISWAI favourites

Recent tweets about new designs for this brand, It Starts With An Idea, got me intrigued and then inspired to do a post about it.
For those who don't know, this is Caggie Dunlops' clothing label. Known for her role in Made in Chelsea, as well as her flawless edgy style, its no wonder her brand reflects her look.
The concept behind the brand is expressing your own style and being who you are.
Young talent will be showcased in the products which reflect the brand. Combining inspiration and innovation to create a beautiful collection.
Thats what makes this company so different to other fashion brands, and why I love it!
Casual tee's with interesting, artisitc guest designers prints and  jewellery with a unique touch are the main focus of the products.
Below are a few of my favourites from the label.

This is a very new company and I can't wait to see more from them!

Motel Rocks 'New In' Favourites

Motel Rocks have some amazing new stuff in at the minute. Below are a few pieces that have really taken my fancy.
I love the way they take the same printed fabrics and make different garments from them.

Especially these leggings, great to mix and match with a printed top for a casual summers day.

This fiji print is lovely, especially on the bodycon dress, definitely tempted to buy for a night out!

I'd heard of boyfriend jeans, but not boyfriend shorts! I'm probably behind the times, anywhoo, I love the vintage inspired Hawaiian style print with added belt, great to get your knees out!

Statement jeans are a bold addition to this seasons wardrobe, the striped ones would elongate the pegs, (not so great for me) and the pineapple ones are just fun!

Finally, I love this whole outfit, I bought a cropped tied top for a festival last year, I'm glad to see their still around, making a core piece to match with colourful shorts or a skirt.

Well done Motel Rocks, I'm impressed, if only I could afford any of this!

Sabo Skirt Wishlist

I love this Australian fashion company, ever since I found them on Instagram (strangely) I am obsessed with their elegant style, fun colours/prints and on-trend pieces each tailored to the companies own personality. If they were based in the UK, and I had some dollar, I would have bought at least half of the summer range.

Each time they post a design on Instagram I am instantly envious! The range may be fairly small, but being a relatively new company, I'm sure they are planning to expand with their success and I'm expecting great things!

Below are a few of my favourite looks, pieces and accessories that I'm dying to buy!

If you like what you see, visit the website now to shop the collection:

I'm in love with this lilac slouch shirt, perfect colour for this season and so easy to wear.

This silver collar necklace would be perfect to finish off an evening dress or outfit.

This neon skirt is also ideal for this summer season, matching the sporty themed olympics inspired trend perfectly.

 Garden Dress in Yellow

 Scarf Harem Pants

I love the simplicity of this Knitted Jumper, great for throwing on during a summer night.

And finally, the matching patterns of this floral blazer and shorts combo is gorgeous. Sophisticated yet casual, LOVE.

Trend: The Bralet

These simple little tops have been cropping up all around the high street and I recently invested in this one above from Topshop, which I love and can't wait to wear! They are the perfect summer ensemble to match denim shorts on a scorching day, or a skater/pencil skirt and heels on a night out as well as being ideal for a good festival look! Available in a range of colours and styles to match your wardrobe and suit your shape, this season, the bralet is here to stay. The biggest culprit is Topshop with the best selection but others sporting the trend are River Island, Republic and Misguided. Below are a few of my favourites!
