Things I Fancy

I was introduced to Fancy by a friend. I initially downloaded the app, and after trying out the website version, I personally prefer tapping away at it on my iPhone, however, each to their own.

Fancy is as quirky as Etsy but with similar functions to Pinterest.
You can look at what you think you would be interested in by choosing categories, then your free to fancy what you want!
Everything you fancy is then available on your own profile to share and even buy!
Above are a few awesome things I fancy'd which reflect my own personal style I guess!
So if you're always looking for new ways to procrastinate, like myself, I suggest you take a look, its free to download which is always a bonus.

Melt Candle Joy

I recently received this Melt candle, and seeing as my barely useable Glade is ready for the bin, the timing couldn't be better.
I am always burning candles, they are soothing, and they just create the nicest relaxed atmosphere, which definitely makes sitting in bed all evening doing work a lot nicer.
Melt is based in the UK, selling all things smelly (in a good way) for your home, each with their own unique fragrance. I have never seen such a mixture of scents, but just the sound of them makes your nose perk up and the over whelming need to have a bath surrounded by each one grow.

My Melt is called Joy (pictured above from the website) and it smells just how it sounds.
It contains citrus, musk, iris, rose and lily, so it's mainly floral with a hint of summer spritz and a base of earthy tones.

It came in a gorgeous cylindrical box (pictured above) with a bit about the candle.
The candle itself is cream, with the logo on one side and a nice little motif on the other.
The design is sleek and neutral so it fits perfectly in any room.
Once lit the wax melts, the oils burn and the infusion drifts with a subtle, but not too over powering aroma.
I can tell I will be burning this for a long time! They are just the perfect ambience, meaning Melt Scented candles are the perfect gift for Valentine's day. They even have a 'love' range, ideal for a bit of luxury romance.

I am working on some other gifts for Valentine's day post, so keep coming back!

Stumbled on StumbleUpon?

Yet again, I'm behind the times.
But with new housemates comes their influence of new music, a different routine and new websites.
One I'm now loving is Stumble Upon.
Now, you may have heard of it, you may not, either way its just great.
I know people who can sit on the internet for hours, googling everything under the sun. I can't do that. I have mental blanks and just end up on Facebook.
That's where Stumble Upon comes in. The site where everything your interested in, is found for you!
So start off by ticking a list of your interests. Then Stumble away!
If you like something you find just 'like' it and more sites like that will appear.
The only downside? Theres no personal profile, where if you like something, you can re visit it easily. This means you have to save everything you like yourself!
Never the less, I have found some amazing sites on here, including making your own mix tape, the best places to visit around the world and a site entirely made up of pictures of puppies.
It's also a different way to find fashion blogs.

Another procrastination tool for me to avoid work, I wish I'd never found it, but so glad I did!

Have you seen Svpply?

Svpply is a website which endorses products you love from the companies you know (or don't) and lets you browse them all!

A lot like Pinterest but with just apparel/home products, all unique and beautiful! It uses the same 'follow' system as twitter and Pinterest. But instead of 'pinning' things, you 'want' them, with the 'want' button, the product then appears on your profile for others to see.

There is also a 'buy' button which links you straight to where the product is from so you can buy it yourself.

But be warned, if your like me, no money, then don't enter this website. I have got so down by not being able to buy any of the stuff I'm lusting after.

You can also add your own products from your own store, or sites you love like ASOS and Etsy to appear on your profile to show off your own style for others to see.

They have a Shop with special hand picked products from the team.

The site can also connect to your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest.

I'm currently working on getting a Svpply widget for this blog, so you can see what I've 'wanted' and be connected straight to my profile to have a browse.

I've put a few of my latest 'wants' below.

Judging by the amount of followers, its clear this site is new, and not widely known.

It's an american company, which is quite annoying at times for us brits, although most products are available in the UK, some are exclusive to the states.

So I'm hoping by putting the site out there more, the company will expand and make a UK version!

I recommend checking out this website, you wouldn't believe the amount of beautiful things you'll find on there.

You can follow their blog here.

Birthday Wishlist No.3 - ghd's

After 6 years of dedicated straightening and curling, my beloved ghd's died this morning. Although we're working on repairing them, I know they can last a little while longer, I think its time for a shiny new pair anyway.

I know there are plenty of other companies and celebrity hair stylists who do a range of heating irons, I've never found anything or heard any better reviews quite like ghd's, they are the best.

(If anyone has any other recommendations, they would be greatly appreciated! I haven't completely shunned the other brands!)

So after having a browse on the website,  my favourites from the ranges are these below.

If you would like to have a browse yourself, you can do here.

ghd classic Gold Styler

Limited Edition ghd Red Gloss IV styler

Limited Edition ghd Green Peacock

For more info on any of these please enter the website.

Hopefully 4 months of frizzy hair go quickly!

Graze Craze

You might have seen these little boxes around, I'm a bit behind with the craze but I recently jumped on the Graze box band wagon. If you haven't already heard of them, their a small company producing healthy, natural snacks, which are posted to you every week in a little box. With a choice of 4 nutritious selections out of hundreds, its part of the fun when opening the box to see what goodies await inside.

They have plenty of offers and deals which make receiving these weekly treats all the more tempting. Your first graze box is half price, however if you know someone who's already bought one, they should have a voucher for you to get the 1st one free!

After creating your account on the website, you can then go through each of the snack boxes and choose which ones you don't like, to make sure you'll never receive them in your Graze.
If you decide you really like a particular snack after you've tried it, simply click the 'love' button, to ensure you'll get it more regularly! easy peasy!

Below are all the yummy goodies I got in my first Graze Box.
My particular favourite was the 'very nori-sh' crackers, spicy japanese rice crackers with seaweed bits!

Each box aims to provide you with a few healthy snacks to get you through the day when your feeling peckish at 'biscuits-o-clock', if your feeling tempted simply reach into your box and nibble away!

If you fancy signing up, you can do here

They have been featured in Grazia, Tatler magazine and many more, they are the perfect stylish snack!

Happy Grazing!
