Slogan Sweats

You can't sit with us.

I love a good slogan sweater. I have my own 'that shit cray' in burgundy, however I'm looking to invest in another as it is too explicit to wear out doors. I already frighten small children, I don't want to scare the parents as well. I love this outfit (above), simple yet stylish. Although I dislike 'sneaks' being worn for anything other than exercise, this ensemble screamed Nike. Monochrome and Mean Girls, it works!

Lime Favourites

Lime Favourites

Lime has been creeping its way into the shops since it hit the latest fashion weeks, and as summer is really under way we are seeing more and more. Here are a few of my favourite lime picks from the high street.

She Wore (blue) Velvet

I remember going into school to the Christmas party wearing my special black, velvet sequinned dress.
It's a classic wintery fabric. (yes, winter!)
And this season is no exception.
Velvet is in abundance on the high street with the addition of the oxblood colour trend, their a perfect match, resulting in some beautiful fuzzy pieces!
Below are a few of my favourites.

Velvet

The inspiration behind the title was the lovely Lana's song Blue Velvet. Featured in the new season H&M advert which she is currently endorsing.
I am mad for this song, its so mesmerising, could listen to it all day.

Love for Del Rey

I've recently been crushing on high tops, I can't believe I never tried any on before, and I've been shopping around for some for a while now.
So when I saw my girl crush Lana Del Rey wearing the River Island hidden heel high tops (£40) at the Lovebox Festival last week, I had to have some even more!

The fact she paired them with a pretty peach sleeveless collar top and clinched waist pleated skirt really complimented her style. Casually elegant and she has all the sass to pull it off.

Her sixties hair and make up just topped off the look.

Below is just a mood board I was playing around with and how to recreate the look.

She's definitely set a trend for this season with this outfit!
