Who's that girl?

I'm sure you've all seen the new christmas advertising campaign for Topshop.
It's causing quite the stir across the social media and blogosphere!
A very clever way to spread the brand across the globe...
The main culprits as a guess for 'who's that girl?' are these lovely ladies!

Olivia is Chloe Greens guess... same hair! but is she engaged?

This is the biggest guess from everyone! Here's hoping!

There have been a few rumours (she's american, she's english, she's an A-lister) but from the pictures I think you can tell that she's young, fashionable and engaged, my guess is as good as anyone else's!
So, who's that girl?
We will have to wait and see!

Lusting after: Leggings

Floral, disco, galaxy, printed, you name it, leggings are everywhere this season and a veritable must-have this Autumn.
I am currently lusting after these styles (below) the most.
My favourite pair being the floral purple printed leggings from H&M for £9.99, worn by Lana Del Rey in their A/W '12 campaign. Currently sold out, not only on the net, but in store too, cry.
Leggings are just the easiest thing to sling on, I wear my wet-look Topshop ones practically everyday. They go with basically everything and your going to be on trend, which makes the daily confidence boost rocket!
I love to team them with an oversized jumper or a collared top and leather jacket, this even works in the evening for a casual night out.

Vogue Hoarder

For any of you who have seen my room, or my wall decorations, I am the definition of a hoarder. Spaces filled with clutter, I just can't throw anything away. This means packing up my entire room for the end of the University year is proving extremely difficult. It is especially difficult to let go of the pile of Vogues I have stacked up in the corner.
To some they are just magazines, trash, and can easily be tossed into a recycling bin, without flinching. But for us they are the fashion bible, glossy sheets of creative beauty, that fill our stylish minds with inspiration each month.
I would keep them in a heart beat but they are too heavy to cart around.

I can't just get rid of them without knowing their going to a good home, or at least towards something useful, which is why I've torn them up.
Sounds more drastic than it is, I have simply ripped out the best pages of each, which will then be filed away over summer, and upon my return made into a collage, framed, embellished, or simply kept as a reminder of the greatest pages that help us create our image.
I've picked my favourite campaigns and the best fashion shoots as well as the covers to form my own mini magazine.
This will then become a keepsake which I can keep and hopefully I can show my children and say 'This is what magazines (if they still have them in the future) used to look like when mummy was younger'

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Saving the Planet, one Tee at a time

Do any of you worry about the planet? The eco-system, saving the polar bears, global warming, we get this shoved down our throats 24/7. But I have to admit, ever since 'The Day After Tomorrow' and the dawning of the end of the world, the thought of it all ending does scare me slightly. So how does fashion come into this? Well I'm always wondering what I can do to help save the world, I'm not saying this is going to stop a meteorite, but its a start.

In aid of climate week (who else knew this was happening?!) Katherine Hamnett has designed a t shirt which will be displayed in selected H&M stores from 12th March. With 'Save the Future' printed onto them, they are 100% cotton, produced using low carbon and just £9.99. Not only is this good news but 25% of the profits will go towards the 'No Place like Home' campaign for the Environmental Justice Foundation.

When reading about the cause, it's pretty heart breaking, as Director of EJF, Steve Trent says, "EJF is working to get the voices of those most vulnerable to climate change heard internationally, with the goal of securing a legally-binding instrument for their recognition, assistance and protection. By buying the Climate Week t-shirt you can help support EJF’s work protecting some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.”

The campaign also has a few celebrity supporters under its belt, including The Vaccines, Roisin Murphy and Sunday Girl modelling the tee.

This t-shirt just shows what a massive impact fashion could have on the climate. With more campaigns like these, a difference could really be made, it's just a question of getting involved.

Makes a statement, saves the planet, and it goes with those pastel jeans you've just bought. Buy it, and Save the Future, I know I will.
