Library Wear

Library Wear

Its that time of year again... teenagers and young adults of all walks of life come out of their pits and hit the books to revise for the dreaded exams. This is something I will be going through for the very last time, yikes. My finals for my degree are fast approaching which means 8 hours a day of revision cards, coke, and cramming.
So I thought I'd do a few outfits of inspo on what to wear for the library. If you're stuck, click on google, type in 'baggy' and bob's your uncle, well he might not be, but thats basically the only word to describe the best thing to wear, for me anyway.
When your sitting there trying to remember at least ONE of the thing for your exam, you don't want it made worse with chaffing, tightness or a constant wedgie, do you?
I'm not saying go to the libs in your PJ's like a hobo, but just caj it up a bit.
Now I'm not here to tell anybody what to wear, and personally I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair of joggers outside the house, but if your into this whole Cara Delevingne does slumpy grundge 'I'm so pretty I can dress like a half asleep man in sweatpants' then go for it, I wish I had the nerve, because they are gorgeously comfy and I'm sure I could remember half my logistics wearing them.
If you want to up-the-caj then maybe jeans are slightly more fitting, with a loose jumper, pumps and a big bag full of books. Little tip, if you want to take a nice bag but don't to weigh it down with all your crap, take a swanky canvas bag on your shoulder, you know the free ones you get at Toppy or Primark sometimes, prevents a bad back too!
Today, I wore black jeans, a powder blue jumper and some black shoes, pretty plain but not completely casual.
So, remember to drink lots of coffee, take lots of spare pens, eye up all the fitties, eat plenty of unhealthy snacks, stress yourself out and stay POZ, all the hard work will pay off!!

Good luck to all you ducklings taking GCSE's (lucky sods), A levels (easyyy) and even finals (I don't know whether to laugh or cry)

Oh ya, and if you're wondering, those are stress balls shaped like boobs, I would love to see someone whack them out and start squeezing!

Lusting after: Leather Skirt

Lusting after Leather

I have been lusting after this leather skirt from Missguided for a while now, but it's always out of stock. I am checking online every single day until I get my hands on it.
You may have noticed a few leather skirts cropping up on the high street. I myself have seen them in Ark, H&M and Topshop, which is where the one above is from.
The trend compliments the 90's theme of garments in the shops at the moment, and having bought a few items from my birth decade (love for the nineties babies out there!) I cannot wait to put them together with this leathery friend.
I created this outfit to show you how I would wear it. I am a sucker for a baggy jumper as you may have seen on other posts. Its definitely what I feel most confident in, and you can never go wrong with one. This ox-blood jumper is cropped, in keeping with the trend and shows off the entire skirt. A bag, a bit of jewellery (a statement necklace stops the jumper looking plain) and some gorgey shoes will tie this whole look together and you can walk the streets among your fellow nineties fans knowing you have the trend bang on.

Put some spice girls on whilst you're getting ready.

Best Dressed for Less No.7

I know I havent posted in yonks, sorry guys! University calls, the work load has been hectic!

This best dressed for less is an easy one. Rihanna dressed like a bin bag, a lollipop and pratically naked except some camouflage.
SJP slumped down to jeans and a cardi to pick up the kids.
And Miranda Kerr continued to floor us.
Precisely why shes the chosen one for this weeks BDFL.
She stepped out into New York with her son Flynn in Balenciaga, Acne, Tabitha Simmons boots and a Christian Louboutin bag. If you want to re create this to a tee, that would cost a hefty amount.
So here's how to re-do the look at a minuscule price, enjoy!

Lusting after: Leggings

Floral, disco, galaxy, printed, you name it, leggings are everywhere this season and a veritable must-have this Autumn.
I am currently lusting after these styles (below) the most.
My favourite pair being the floral purple printed leggings from H&M for £9.99, worn by Lana Del Rey in their A/W '12 campaign. Currently sold out, not only on the net, but in store too, cry.
Leggings are just the easiest thing to sling on, I wear my wet-look Topshop ones practically everyday. They go with basically everything and your going to be on trend, which makes the daily confidence boost rocket!
I love to team them with an oversized jumper or a collared top and leather jacket, this even works in the evening for a casual night out.

Best Dressed for Less No.3

Alexa Chung Style

Alexa Chung is famous for her style, not initially, but she's in Vogue basically every month because of her look. She's so effortlessly cool, she looks as if she's grabbed anything in her wardrobe, thrown it together and it works!
This outfit is a classic example.
Casual jumper, smartened with the tweed skirt, and a touch of elegance with the sandals. The little bag just brings it altogether, love it!
I have recreated this outfit with high street pieces, once for those who can splash the cash, and another for us who have a budget.
A massive difference in price and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
